Toyota unit to recall mufflers of Wish minivans

TOKYO December 11, 2004; Japan Today reported that Toyota Technocraft Co, Toyota Motor Corp's wholly owned subsidiary, said Friday it will recall about 300 mufflers installed on Toyota's Wish minivans.

The mufflers, produced between June and November 2003, have defective metal components that fit to the chassis of vehicles, Toyota Technocraft said. (Kyodo News)
