Daihatsu introduced the new generation Mira Gino in Japan today.

The car which was prewieved as the XL-C at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show is based on the 6th generation Mira. Its has a unique, cute styling, which harks back to 1960s British minicars, just as it happened with the previous Mira Gino.

With a height of 1515 mm, it is taller than the Mira and has a bit more interior space.

Mira Gino is available with a 58 bhp 3-cylinder 660 cc engine and a four-speed auto gearbox. In addition to 2wd version, it is possible to opt for a 4wd model as well.

Equipment includes automatic air conditioning, special windshield which protects from damaging sun rays and pollen filter.
