42nd Annual National RVIA: Fleetwood RV Introduces Revolutionary Jamboree GTX and Tioga SLX

Partnership With BMW DesignworksUSA Team Brings Unprecedented Style to the Class C Market

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Nov. 30 -- Fleetwood RV, a leading producer of recreational vehicles, has collaborated with the BMW Group DesignworksUSA to introduce its revolutionary Jamboree GTX and Tioga SLX Class C motor homes. The innovative new products were unveiled at the 42nd Annual National RVIA tradeshow in Louisville, KY, November 30 -- December 2, 2004.

"The Jamboree GTX and Tioga SLX are designed to appeal to a customer who appreciates contemporary design and styling, predominately found in high-end marine vessels and corporate jets," said Chris Braun, Executive Vice President of Fleetwood RV. "With that in mind, we joined forces with a local Southern California partner, renowned BMW Group DesignworksUSA. The result is a sophisticated and affordable motor home that enhances the RV experience."

Exterior features on the brand new Jamboree GTX and Tioga SLX models include a low drag body featuring an aerodynamic cab-over with a distinctive front vista window, contoured transition fairings, molded composite running boards, custom-formed aluminum luggage doors, and a fully integrated rear body panel. The Jamboree GTX and Tioga SLX are built on a raised platform to provide expansive basement storage and heated holding tanks. Optional exterior features typically found only on Class A motor homes include vibrant full-body paint graphics, a power awning, and a 15,000-BTU air conditioner with solar panel charger and heat pump.

The unique interior is highlighted by elegant curved cabinetry components supplied by Tecnoform S.p.A of Bologna, Italy. Standard interior features include contemporary decors, solid surface galley tops, indirect and halogen lighting, a residential-size stainless steel convection microwave, entertainment center featuring a 20" flat screen television and DVD/CD player, elegant Fabrica carpet with state-of-the-art soil and stain resistant technology, and high-end galley and lavy plumbing fixtures. Optional features include Ultraleather furniture, a home theater system, high-resolution LCD televisions, and a 400-watt power inverter.

The Jamboree GTX and Tioga SLX are available in three floor plans ranging from 26 to 31 feet. All floor plans feature a large L-shaped sofa for dining and entertaining.

"Our collaboration with Fleetwood RV, one of the leaders in the RV industry, was very exciting for our design team," said Neil Brooker, Vice President, BMW Group DesignworksUSA. "We liked the challenge of combining a complex living space with the customers' requirements for mobility; this gave DesignworksUSA the opportunity to apply the unique experience gained from diverse industry design projects to the RV industry."

The Jamboree GTX and Tioga SLX will be available at Fleetwood dealerships nationwide in April 2005. For more information on these unique Class C models, or any of Fleetwood's RV products, please call 877-308-7644 or visit www.fleetwoodrv.com.
