Todd Kluever Heading to Roush Racing
Indianapolis – (November 23, 2004) American Speed Association National Tour
regular and Ringers Gloves supporter Todd Kluever has been tabbed as one of
the newest drivers for Roush Racing’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams.
Kluever, 26, from Sun Prairie, Wis., is not only a race car driver, but
shares the responsibility of owning a tavern and a race team with his older
brother Tim.
Kluever began racing motorcycles in 1990 and throughout his career
progressed into snowmobiles before he started racing late models in 2000.
In 2000, his late model rookie season, he captured the Dells Motor Speedway
(WI) Rookie of the Year and took his freshman year success into his sophomore
racing season as well, taking home the Madison International Speedway Late
Model Track Champion, the Midwest All-Star Racing Series (MARS) Rookie of the
Year and the Midwest All-Star Racing Series Champion all in 2001.
Kluever and his TK2 Racing No. 55 team moved up to the American Speed
Association in 2002 and at the end of the 2004 season had earned six top-five and
21 top-10 finishes in his brief three-season career there.
Kluever will enter his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season with racing
veteran Ricky Craven as his teammate.
Ringers Gloves would like to say thank you and to Kluever and the No. 55
team for their support of Ringers over the past couple seasons! Good luck in
the Truck Series!
