Warnock Automotive Group Brings Reality TV to East Hanover as Host of Daredevil Stunt

EAST HANOVER, N.J.--Nov. 1, 20049, 2004--

  For News Assignment: Saturday, November 20, 2004, 2:00 p.m.

This Saturday, Warnock Automotive Group customers and visitors will have the opportunity to witness a death-defying feat as stuntman Spanky Spangler jumps from a crane suspended 150 feet in the air. The jump will take place on Saturday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Warnock Dodge Chrysler Jeep located at 175 Route 10 East in East Hanover. Cable network A&E will film the event as part of a reality television series profiling daredevils.

Spanky Spangler has been a performer since he was 12 years old. With twenty two thousand stunts to his credit and 22 world records, he is known to his peers as the "Original Fall Guy" and is also known as "The Falling Star." In the past 3 years, more than 180 million people have seen his amazing stunts. Among his many awards, he holds the distinction of having September 13 named "Spanky Spangler Day" in the state of Arizona.

"It's a thrill to be able to bring world-renowned talent to the dealership," said Robert Warnock, co-owner, Warnock Automotive Group. "We offer a wide variety of family-oriented events throughout the year, including autograph signings, car shows and contests. It's fun to keep our loyal customers wondering what we'll do next."

Spangler is the second daredevil to perform at the dealership as part of the A&E series this year. In June, "Kaptain" Robbie Knievel, son of legendary Evel Knievel, successfully cleared 23 police cars on a motorcycle in the "Above the Law" jump. Over 6,000 spectators were onsite for that feat, in addition to news camera crews on the ground and in the air who came to capture the memorable moment.
