Conversion Van Marketing Association Unveils todaysconversionvan.com Web Site

Site Will Educate Consumers on Luxury, Comfort of GM Conversion Vans

DETROIT, Nov. 17 -- The Conversion Van Marketing Association (CVMA), an industry group established to raise consumer awareness of Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana conversion vans, announced the launch of the todaysconversionvan.com web site.

The new web site is part of a multi-channel marketing effort by the CVMA to re-introduce the GM conversion van into American culture and educate customers on the numerous interior and exterior amenities available in these custom vehicles. The site provides consumers with the latest information on the features and benefits of GM conversion vans, the GM-approved upfitters who build them and the dealers who sell them.

"Today's GM conversion vans are one of the automotive industry's best-kept secrets and have changed dramatically over the last ten years, offering consumers some of the most luxurious appointments and advanced electronics of any vehicle on the road today," said CVMA President Rod McSweeney, Chairman/Owner of Southern Comfort Conversions, Inc., Trussville, Ala. "The new web site will help consumers learn more about the luxury, comfort and versatility these vehicles offer to match their active lifestyles, and will help conversion van manufacturers and dealers spread the word about today's conversion vans and attract new customers."

GM conversion vans now include state-of-the-art entertainment systems, finely appointed leather interiors and exciting exterior design with special paint treatments and chrome wheels. The Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana conversion vans also offer industry-exclusive driver-side swing-out doors, and all-wheel drive, as well as dual-level air bags and standard four-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

Currently on todaysconversionvan.com, consumers can get details on GM conversion vans, view photo galleries that showcase different van options and configurations, locate a Chevrolet or GMC conversion van dealer in their area and learn more about the CVMA conversion van manufacturers.

Future site enhancements will include an expanded photo gallery, additional "shop and buy" tools, a dealer locator with enhanced search functionality and a "Contact Us" section allowing consumers the choice to be contacted by the nearest dedicated GM conversion van dealer or to request additional fulfillment information.
