Tokyo (JCNN) - Yokohama Rubber Co. announced that its flagship sport tyre ADVAN SPORT was selected as the 20" option tyre for British automaker Bentley Motors Continental GT.

This is the first Bentley model to have Yokohama tires fitted at the factory as part of the new Bentley Mulliner Driving Specification package. The tire size adopted for the Mulliner Driving Specification Continental GT is 275/35ZR20 for both front and rear.

The Continental GT, launched in 2003, is the fastest 4-seater coupe in the world. The Continental GT has a maximum speed of 198mph (318km/h) and 4.7 second acceleration for 0-60mph. It is recognized as the ultimate British Grand Tourer with its high level of craftsmanship and impressive dynamics.

The ADVAN SPORT has been developed as the top series in Yokohama's B car tire family, with the main goal of achieving superb performance on dry and wet surfaces, comfort and safety at high speeds.

Yokohama Rubber and Bentley Motors jointly developed the 20" tyre specification to optimize the driving performance of the Continental GT. A "B" logo is marked on the side of the tire to show that it is exclusive to Bentley.
