Creates Immediacy, Increases Accuracy of Vehicle Valuations Nationwide

SAN RAMON, Calif., Sept. 15 -- ADP Claims Services Group, a leading provider of information services for the insurance, collision repair and automotive recycling industries, announced today it will add a new source of sold-vehicle information to Autosource, the world's largest database of "for sale" vehicles.

The daily updates of national used-car sold data will offer unparalleled specificity by ZIP code for the greatest accuracy. The daily updates will be VIN-specific, option-specific, include mileage by ZIP code and add more than 500,000 sold vehicles to the database each month.

The just-sold information will be downloaded daily through a direct link from ADP's Dealer Services Division, and will be available in October. Already the world's largest database of "for sale" vehicle valuation information, with more than 110 million vehicle records entered annually, Autosource will enhance its market leadership with additional daily sold vehicle updates from participating ADP dealer management systems.

The Autosource database is already updated daily with sold-vehicle market information gathered from private-party advertisements in more than 3,300 publications and web sites nationwide. ADP continues to collect electronic dealer inventory program information from more than 10,300 participating dealerships. The result is a database updated with more than 2 million vehicles per week.
