Delphi Showcases Safety, Diesel Technology at IAA

TROY, Mich., Aug. 23, 2004 -- Delphi Corp. will highlight current and future commercial vehicle safety and diesel technology at next month's 60th International Auto Show (IAA) Commercial Vehicles, held Sept. 23-30, 2004 in Hanover, Germany.

"Our display at Hanover will focus on helping to keep truck drivers safe," said Brad Maggart, global director, Delphi Commercial Vehicle Systems. "We will also show technologies that will help improve the comfort and productivity for operators and fleet owners including HVAC, diesel and fleet management products."

Delphi will display a heavy-duty commercial vehicle outfitted with current and future safety product concepts. The products range from innovative front object detection products to the latest in seatbelts. Most of the products will be operational and show goers will be able to experience the technology firsthand.

Diesel technology will also be on exhibit at Delphi's booth in Hall 17. Displays include Delphi's newest heavy-duty diesel system along with medium- duty common rail equipment.

Additional displays include HVAC, wire harnesses, steering columns, door modules, connection systems, telematics, audio and fleet management systems.

"Hanover is one of the premier commercial vehicle shows and we look forward to displaying our products for the international audience," Maggart said.
