CIS' Response to the UK Greenaway Review

MANCHESTER, England, August 11 -- Andy Watson, CIS' General Insurance Director, said: "We believe that the recommendations of the Greenaway review will make people think twice before using a car without insurance, the key now is to implement these proposals as soon as possible. Everyone is well aware of the consequences arising from the actions of uninsured motorists and the impact it has on innocent motorists and their families. If those who consider committing such offences were to take a more responsible approach to driving, not only would our roads be a much safer place to be but the costs borne by the innocent motorist would be reduced too."
