Ford 'Year of the Car' Tour Rolls Into Louisville

Ford showcases three outstanding and diverse examples of its new "Year of the Car" products on the Louisville stop of its summer North American tour -- the Ford Mustang, the Ford Five Hundred and the Ford Freestyle.

  WHEN:  Monday, August 2 and Tuesday, August 3

  WHO/WHERE:

August 2, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Public vehicle display of the 2005 Mustang, Ford Five Hundred, and Ford Freestyle at Churchill Downs. Also appearing will be 100 classic Mustangs and their owners from local clubs.

SUMMARY:

Ford is celebrating Mustang's 40th anniversary with a back-to-the-future design of the 2005 model. It's one of 40 new products the company will launch this fall, designated by Ford as "The Year of the Car." The swaggering Pony car legend, the all-new flagship Five Hundred sedan, and the Freestyle that bridges the gap between SUVs and traditional passenger cars, demonstrate the range of these products.
