ACDelco Race For Performance Sales Team Competition Gets Vehicle Owners The Products They Need

GRAND BLANC, MICH. - ACDelco wants its customers to be able to get the parts they ask for when they take their vehicles in for repair. To help ensure that repair shops are stocked with its products, ACDelco is introducing its 2004 Race for Performance Team Competition, a sales and training incentive program for teams of Warehouse Distributor (WD) and Alliance Jobber Program salespeople/counterpersons.

"The Race for Performance Team Competition is a great 'push-pull' promotion - pushing products to shop owners' shelves, while pulling products from the WD warehouses," said Bill Fitzgerald, ACDelco sales promotion manager. "We feel this program can be a 'win-win' for everyone involved."

The program is designed to make more ACDelco products readily available to vehicle owners while rewarding the sales teams' performances and giving them incentive to increase their sales of ACDelco parts, ACDelco has parts for Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, GM and practically every other vehicle on the road today.

Enrolled teams that meet or exceed predetermined required monthly purchase levels win great prizes for each individual team member. Team members can earn additional prizes for completing specified ACDelco training courses.

"In addition to servicing vehicle owners and keeping the shop owners' shelves stocked, this is an opportunity to recognize the ACDelco sales teams," Fitzgerald said. "We also want to make sure they take full advantage of the world-class training ACDelco provides, which will increase their product knowledge and further boost their performance."
