SAN RAMON, Calif., July 20 -- ADP Claims Services Group, a leading provider of integrated business solutions for the property and casualty, collision repair and automotive recycling industries, announced today Autosource, the world's largest database of "for sale" vehicle valuation information, has expanded to include salvage check and state title information, powered by Experian Automotive's AutoCheck(SM).

The expanded Autosource services will report possible undisclosed or previously unknown vehicle history, such as salvage and flood damage, that can affect an automobile's value.

"Experian's salvage and title history will broaden the vehicle valuation database trusted by Autosource users to determine fair market value," said Daphne Li, vice president of marketing for ADP Claims Services Group. "The agreement underscores our commitment to maintain the largest vehicle valuation database and to deliver repeatable methodology that insurers can trust to help them calculate consistent vehicle valuations that are fair and accurate."

Autosource users can add salvage check and state title information to vehicle valuations. The salvage check includes information on salvage, salvage auction, salvage correction from department of motor vehicles, water damage, rebuilt/rebuildable, insurance loss and more. The state title information includes the event date, event location, odometer reading, source and event detail.

"This relationship creates a powerhouse of vehicle information for insurance companies," said Andrew Sheehan, senior vice-president of Experian Automotive. "Experian is excited to work with fellow industry leader ADP to provide up-to-date vehicle information easily and seamlessly."

AutoCheck salvage and state title information is accessed from Experian's National Vehicle Database, which is comprised of more than 16 billion records on more than 450 million vehicles.

The Autosource database is the world's largest database of "for sale" vehicle valuation information, with more than 110 million vehicle records entered annually. It is updated daily with real-world market information gathered from private-party advertisements in more than 3,300 publications and web sites nationwide and ADP's electronic dealer inventory program, which collects information from more than 11,300 dealerships. The result is a database updated with more than 2 million vehicle records per week.

Autosource is the only vehicle valuation database that includes integrated salvage, phone analysis and an original equipment guide. With over 35 million inspected vehicles, Autosource has more than 50 times the vehicle coverage than the next largest competitor.

Autosource, ADP's comprehensive vehicle valuation service, helps the insurance industry settle total loss claims quickly, efficiently and fairly by providing extensive local market analysis and statistically-based fair market values.
