Actual Model T to be Assembled in Greenfield Village Wednesday, July 14

From a Pile of Parts to a Traveling Tin Lizzy see a Model T Roar to Life

From the first bolt to turning over the engine, see the more than 250 pieces of a Model T assembled at Greenfield Village as part of Tech Trekker Camp. The assembly process begins 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 14 near the Mack Avenue Ford Plant in the Village.

In August, Tech Trekker campers at The Henry Ford will be assembling the same Model T; this week their counselors try it. The two-week overnight Tech Trekker Camps are open to seventh, eighth and ninth graders. Space is still available. For camp information call (313) 982-6001.

  WHERE:  Greenfield Village, 20900 Oakwood Blvd. at Village Road, Dearborn.
          Park in front of Bus Drop off outside Greenfield Village entrance.
