Michigan School Bus Driving Championship Sponsored by AAA Michigan and the Michigan Assn. for Pupil Transportation

WHAT: Thirty-six school bus drivers from around the state will compete in a written exam and an obstacle course drive-through to determine the 2004 state school bus driving champion. The winner will get an all-expense-paid trip to Minneapolis in July to compete for the national title.

  WHEN:  Tuesday, June 22.
         *  Drivers will take a written exam at 10:45 a.m.
         *  They will begin taking turns driving through the obstacle course
            at 11 a.m. with the driving competition expected to conclude by
            4 p.m.
         *  Winners will be announced and the Bus Driver of the Year Award
            will be presented at an awards banquet beginning at 6 p.m.
