Outdoor Channel Unleashes Monsters of Destruction in 2005

TEMECULA, Calif., June 9 -- Management of The Outdoor Channel (TOC), a majority-owned subsidiary of Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: OUTD) , announced today an agreement to broadcast coverage of the "Monsters of Destruction Monster Truck Series" beginning in January 2005. The series will air on Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. EST exclusively on The Outdoor Channel.

TOC will also broadcast a half hour series entitled "Monsters of Destruction- Behind the Scenes."

"This exciting series has an enormous following of diehard fans across the country, many of whom have been found to also be avid Outdoor Channel enthusiasts," remarked TOC SVP of Programming Wade Sherman. "We're thrilled to have this opportunity to further provide our audience with exhilarating television that serves to best satisfy their preferences in programming."

Milestone Motorsports' President, Chris Kingston said, "We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to bring our Monsters of Destruction Monster Truck Series to the millions of Outdoor Channel fans. The true sport of monster trucks will be showcased exclusively by this series and The Outdoor Channel."

The Monsters of Destruction (MOD) Series will feature both straight-line drag racing and obstacle course racing. MOD will also include a "Freestyle" segment with the event, but with a few twists never witnessed before in monster trucks.

The MOD series will feature 26 total rounds of racing, crowning a champion in three different categories. These categories will include straight-line drag racing, obstacle course racing and freestyle. Points will be accumulated by each contestant in each round determining the champions in each category.

Monster trucks expected to appear in the MOD series include Bigfoot, Monster Patrol, Samson, Bear Foot, Dragon Slayer, and several cross-licensed NASCAR and movie studio theme trucks.

TimeBomb Entertainment is the exclusive production company for Milestone Motorsports and the MOD series. Onboard cameras, various telemetry elements, and new camera positioning will be featured in this series.

Replica Monsters of Destruction monster truck merchandise, sold through such retail outlets as Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, and Radio Shack, are extremely popular among fans and The Outdoor Channel will have its own Monster Moose truck bearing the TOC logo.
