Classic Autos Roll into Napa Valley's Vintage 1870 for Father's Day

YOUNTVILLE, Calif.--May 2, 20047, 2004--The Napa Valley will proudly welcome car connoisseurs from around the Bay Area and beyond as Vintage 1870 in Yountville, Napa Valley hosts the 14th Annual Father's Day Invitational Auto Show on Sunday, June 20, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Auto entries are by invitation. The event is Free to the Public.

Once again, Vintage 1870 celebrates the "art of the driving machine." From the national champions to the local favorites, to the one-of-a-kind collector curiosities. Packard, Pierce Arrow, Ford, Ferrari, M.G., Mercedes Benz and more, top a list of more than 90 early and late model autos spanning some 80 years of production! This year the event celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang!

This non-competitive, open-class invitational exhibition is the perfect gift for Father's Day. Whether nostalgia means rolling down the road in a classic 1926 Pierce Arrow, sliding into the drive-in with a '57 Chevy, or cruising the fast lane in a Porsche Turbo, this show-stopping collection presents some of the finest autos to grace the highway in any era!

Surrounded by picnic gardens and meandering cobblestone walkways, Vintage 1870, an historic 130 year-old restored winery complex provides a breathtaking backdrop for the annual event. Event-goers can look forward to a variety of wine country dining and other diversions including Father's Day lunch at either Pacific Blues Cafe, Cucina a' la Carte, Cafe Kinyon, or Compadres Bar & Grill's award-winning margarita cabana, 36 distinctive specialty shops, and a complete wine tasting cellar -- all part of the Vintage 1870 complex.

Vintage 1870 is located just 1 hour northeast of San Francisco at 6525 Washington Street in Yountville, Napa Valley. Take Hwy 29 to the Yountville/Veterans Home exit, 9 miles north of the City of Napa.

Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
