Ingenious Group Wins Top Honors at e-Assessment Product
Shootout

NEW HARTFORD, Conn., May 17, 2004 -- Ingenious Group,
developer of the highly regarded Testcraft(R) Assessment
Software, today announced very impressive results at the
e-Assessment Shootout Competition. Voted by the live
audience as 'Overall Winner' and placing second in the Ease
of Use and the Data Collection, Reporting, Assessment
Statistics categories, the results of the competition
reaffirm Ingenious Group's leadership position in
e-Assessment technology.

Sponsored by Brandon-Hall.com and Training Magazine, the
event took place March 1-3, 2004 at the Training 2004
Conference and Expo held at the Georgia World Congress
Center, Atlanta GA.  The objective of this shootout was to
place focus on which systems excel at making it easy for
relatively novice developers to create tests, exams, and
quizzes.  This allowed the audience to see how robust and
dynamic an online assessment can be and to show which
systems do the best job of analyzing and reporting post
assessment data.  Over 3,700 training professionals
representing a variety of commercial, non-profit and
academic organizations from all over the globe attended the
Conference and Expo, a sampling of which served as the live
audience for each day of the event.

A total of nine teams competed over the three day event. 
The audience was able to observe the complete assessment
development on large screens in an effort to make it clear
that each team was doing the same original work on-site. 
Each team then had the opportunity to debrief the audience
on the assessment and output. The audience, in turn, rated
each system on "Ease of Use", "Robustness of Assessment
Output", and "Data Collection, Reporting, Assessment
Statistics".
