Ecount Provides Stored-Value Cards for Sales Incentives to GM Commercial Truck Dealers

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., May 17, 2004 -- Ecount, a leading provider of products and services that enable organizations to easily and electronically move cash to employees and consumers in order to motivate, compensate and reward, announced today that it will begin providing stored-value cards and management services to GMC, Chevrolet, and Isuzu commercial truck dealers. Ecount will be used to distribute sales incentives and commissions to 3,000 sales professionals in the U.S.

"GMC, Chevrolet, and Isuzu were among the first companies to use stored- value cards as an innovative way to provide incentives to their sales forces," says Matt Gillin, CEO of Ecount. "Switching their program to Ecount demonstrates we are the standard-bearer for the next-generation of stored- value programs. Manufacturers are becoming aware of how Ecount's sophisticated programs and technologies -- such as online account management, 30 day implementation, better reporting -- can increase sales and decrease headaches. It's an exciting time to be in this business, and to work with leaders such as GMC, Chevrolet, and Isuzu."

GM's commercial truck dealers are among the country's pioneers in the effective use of stored-value debit cards for sales incentives and commissions. They began using stored value cards, as a way to boost medium- duty truck sales by making it easier for sales professionals to collect, spend, and manage their incentive awards.
