Nissan Donates $25,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas

IRVING, Texas--May 1, 20042, 2004--Nissan North America, Inc. is helping make a wish come true for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas. Today Nissan donated $25,000 toward the construction of The Wishing Place, the soon to be permanent home for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas. The donation was made during a brief ceremony at the car maker's Nissan Dallas campus.

"Our hearts have been touched by the great work done by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas and we've seen the impact it's had on the lives of thousands of children with life threatening illnesses and medical conditions," said Jeff Edwards, VP of Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, Nissan's finance division. "We are proud to be part of this ongoing effort by donating toward the construction of The Wishing Place that we know will enhance each child's wish experience."

The Wishing Place will be the Foundation's future home and will provide a special setting that offers comfort and sparks the imagination of children and their families. It will open next spring and will be located in La Villita, a new master-planned community in northeast Las Colinas.
