FORD WEEKLY NORTH AMERICAN PRODUCTION REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING APRIL 25, 2004

DEARBORN, Mich., April 29 - Ford Motor Company's North American vehicle production for the week ending April 25 is summarized below:

The following U.S. and Canadian assembly plants are working overtime this week: Dearborn (Ford Mustang), Kansas City SUV (Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute), Kansas City Truck (Ford F-Series), Lorain (Ford Econoline), Michigan Truck (Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator), Norfolk (Ford F-Series), and Ohio Assembly (Ford Escape). In addition, Saturday overtime is scheduled at Lorain, Michigan Truck, Norfolk, and Ohio on May 1.

Next week (May 3), all North American assembly plants will be operating except Chicago, Oakville (Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey) and Twin Cities (Ford Ranger). Chicago is undergoing facilities changes prior to the launch of the all-new Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle and Mercury Montego. Production has been suspended for one week at Oakville and Twin Cities for inventory adjustments.
