ACDelco Helping Owners To "Talk" To Their Vehicles With A Free Car Care Clinic

GRAND BLANC, MICH. - In yet another show of support for April's National Car Care Month (NCCM), ACDelco is hosting a free Car Care Clinic to help drivers of all levels understand what their vehicles are "saying" when they "squeak," "clunk," "grind," or "hum" by providing information about how vehicles operate.

Geared toward new drivers, women, and anyone who wants to learn more about an automobile's operation, this two-night course on basic vehicle maintenance shows drivers how to keep their vehicles in top-running condition. The informative session provides an overview of parts as well as hands-on demonstrations of how to maintain and repair a vehicle, including how to change a tire and conduct an under-hood inspection, all within a classroom setting. The courses will take place on March 15 and 16 and March 23 and 25 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Coldwater, Mich.

Earlier this month, ACDelco announced its Warehouse Distributors in select markets will facilitate the NCCM campaign by securing local sponsors and technicians to operate free vehicle inspections, along with other events, in communities nationwide.

Car Care Clinic attendees will be instructed by Woods Autocare owner and trained technician John Lounds. They also will receive handouts and tip sheets, and will be eligible to win door prizes. While there is no charge for the Clinic, space is limited. Those interested are encouraged to register early by calling 517-279-6132.
