What: The Stand By Your Van contest officially completed its first 24
hours at the 2004 Chicago Auto Show with 15 contestants still
standing. Under the watchful eyes of judges, complete with an
oversized clock hovering above them, each contestant is competing
to stand longer than any of the other contestants. The last
person standing will drive home in their choice of a brand new
2005 Chrysler Town & Country or Dodge Grand Caravan with the Stow
n' Go seating and storage system. Stow n' Go is a minivan-first
feature that allows customers to fold both second- and third-row
seats into the floor in approximately 30 seconds.

Who: Fifteen contestants, ranging from a Chicago firefighter to a
junior high school teacher remain standing. More than 350
minivan enthusiasts applied to participate in the Stand By Your
Van competition. Each brings their own style and strategy to win
           the contest.
