GLOVIS America Selects ICL to Implement Outbound Automotive Logistics System

COSTA MESA, Calif., Jan. 27, 2004 -- GLOVIS America, Inc., the logistics provider for Hyundai Motor America, Inc. and Kia Motors America, Inc., selected ICL, Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada, to develop and manage a comprehensive outbound logistics management system. With responsibility for processing and transporting more than 650,000 vehicles annually to Hyundai and Kia dealers across the US, the system will provide GLOVIS visibility of the entire transportation process.

GLOVIS selected the next generation of ICL's award-winning Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS). The web-based ILMS provides a single platform from which GLOVIS will be able to track all vehicles in the distribution process, obtain detailed exception reporting of delayed shipments, generate performance metrics for all of their suppliers, and electronically audit all invoicing related to the new vehicle pre-delivery and transportation process.

Established in 1992, privately owned ICL, Inc., is the leading provider of webbased solutions designed specifically for the unique demands of the finished automotive supply chain. Current ICL customers include American Honda Motor Company, American Suzuki Motor Corp., Volkswagen of America, Mercedes- Benz USA, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Mitsubishi Motor Sales Canada, and Promax Automotive.
