SEPTA Offers the Best Routes to the 2004 Philadelphia International Auto Show

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 23, 2004 -- A turbo-charged pass is the key to unlimited one-day travel on all SEPTA routes for riders traveling to the 2004 edition of the Philadelphia International Auto Show scheduled for the Pennsylvania Convention Center from January 31 through February 8.

Developed especially for the Auto Show and on sale now, the special $8.00 SEPTA "Turbo Pass" can be used on weekdays and weekends on SEPTA buses, trolleys and subway-elevated trains. Turbo Passes are also valid for travel on all SEPTA regional rail trains arriving in Center City after 9:30 a.m. Twelve SEPTA bus routes, the Broad Street and Market-Frankford subway-elevated lines, subway-surface trolleys routes and regional rail line stations in Center City are only a short walk from the Convention Center.

In addition, through a partnership with ADAGP (the organizers of the Auto Show, the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia) discounted weekday Auto Show tickets are also available at more than 80 SEPTA sales outlets located throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Discounted ticket prices are $8.00 for adult admission and $6.00 for child/senior admissions providing up to a $2.00 discount on adult tickets compared to same day, box office prices. The discounted tickets are valid for admission to the Auto Show on weekdays from February 2 to 6.

The Turbo Pass and the discounted tickets are now available at SEPTA Sales Offices at 15th & Market Streets (in the Suburban Station concourse), 69th Street Terminal (69th & Market Streets), the Olney Transportation Center (Broad Street & Olney Avenue) and the Transit Museum Store at 1234 Market Street (lobby). The discounted tickets are also available at a number of SEPTA regional rail station ticket offices.

As an added bonus, anyone that visits the Transit Museum Store and displays a Turbo Pass will receive a 10% discount on any merchandise purchased.
