SCION to Support National Launch Of xA and xB Cars with Edgey Phone Photography

Combined Online and Mobile Contest Is a Digital Photo Chain Adventure

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 -- Oasis Advertising announced today that SCION, the new car marque from Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., will launch ScionSpy, an interactive digital photo contest with a wireless component designed by Sennari Mobile.

ScionSpy is an online contest in which participants, using their camera phones, digital cameras or desktop computers, obtain digital photos of SCION cars. Contestants then send their photos to www.scionspy.com via mobile phone or Internet and compete to win prizes such as a Pioneer home theater system. The goal is to amass the longest chain of unduplicated digital photos.

"This groundbreaking promotion appeals to our mobile, tech savvy target," says Adrian Si, interactive manager, SCION. "ScionSpy will be an integral part of our 2004 national launch of SCION's xA and xB models."

The promotion took shape when Oasis Advertising, SCION's interactive agency, came to Sennari Mobile looking for a turnkey promotion for SCION. "It needed to fit our objective of creating a viral community event," said Ruby Fiorito, Director of Interactive Marketing for Oasis. "This contest will increase excitement and build awareness of the launch of the new SCION cars across the US."

ScionSpy runs online at www.scionspy.com from January 19th to February 16th, 2004. The contest is open to legal U.S. residents, 16 years and older with access to the Internet.
