Charity Motors Car Donation Program Reminds Consumers It's Not Too Late To Get a Year-End Tax Deduction While Helping Your Favorite Charity

DETROIT, Dec. 19, 2003 -- Charity Motors, Inc., a member of the Better Business Bureau, reminds consumers that they can make the most of year- end tax planning by donating an unwanted or unused car to Charity Motors. Their donation is 100% tax deductible and the proceeds can be directed to their favorite charity. Charities in southeast Michigan admittedly are in need of additional revenue in these economically challenged times.

Donors may call Charity Motors and the non-profit organization will arrange for free vehicle pick up. The donor determines the fair market value of the vehicle and 70% of the car's selling price is given to the donor's favorite charity. Charity Motors handles all of the necessary paper work related to transferring the title out of the donor's name and provides the donor with the necessary IRS forms to file their taxes. Charity Motors is licensed by the state to receive and sell donated vehicles.

Charity Motors, through its highly successful car donation program, has contributed over ten million dollars to over 25,000 charities in the last eight years.
