Porsche Cars North America Reports November U.S. Sales

North American Sales Increased by 58 Percent; Best November in History

ATLANTA, Dec. 2 -- Porsche Cars North America, Inc., (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars (Boxster, 911 and Cayenne) in the United States and Canada, today announced North American retail sales for November totaled 2,654 cars, a 58 percent increase over the same period last year and the best November in North American history. Total calendar year-to- date North American sales were 27,147, up from 21,124 and an increase of 29 percent. U.S. retail sales for November totaled 2,541 cars, an increase of 55 percent compared to the same period last year. Total calendar year-to-date U.S. sales were 25,619, up from 19,979 and an increase of 28 percent. Canada retail sales for November totaled 113 cars, a 214 percent increase over the same period last year. Total calendar year-to-date Canadian sales were 1,528, up from 1,145 and an increase of 33 percent.

"New Porsche 911 models such as the 40th Anniversary 911 Carrera Coupe, 911 Turbo Cabriolet and 911 C4S Cabriolet continue to drive 911 sales. At the same time, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo sales remain strong. Together, the new models have made this the best November for Porsche in North America and the second-best November in the history of Porsche in the United States," said Peter Schwarzenbauer, PCNA President and CEO.
