Porsche North America November 2003 Sales Rise Almost 60%

FRANKFURT, Dec 2, 2003; Reuters reported that German sportscar maker Porsche said on Tuesday it had sold 2,654 vehicles in north America in November, up 58 percent from the same month a year ago, with growth driven by its Cayenne sports utility vehicle. Porsche, which sells roughly half its vehicles in north America, said sales of its traditional 911 and Boxster sportscars had fallen 24 percent last month.
