Fleetwood RV Introduces Newly Redesigned 2004 Folding Trailers

New Models, Floor Plans and Spacious Interiors Offer Customers the Most Convenient, Comfortable Folding Trailers Available

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Dec. 2 -- Fleetwood RV, the world's leading recreational vehicle manufacturer, today unveiled its newly remodeled 2004 Fleetwood Folding Trailer models. The folding trailers featuring updated floor plans are being showcased at the 41st Annual National RVIA tradeshow, taking place in Louisville, KY, December 2-4, 2003.

The 2004 line of Fleetwood Folding Trailers, which include models in the Destiny SE and DLX series, Grand Tour and Grand Tour Elite, and the Highlander series, has been completely redesigned from the ground up. With 18 spacious floor plans, the new models feature residential height galleys, glide-out dinette areas, two king-size sleeping areas, and solid-wall bath cassette toilets and showers.

"Fleetwood has a solid reputation for providing the highest quality, most reliable and most spacious line of folding trailers to our customers and dealers," said Larry Marsh, Vice President of Fleetwood's Folding Trailer division. "Fleetwood Folding Trailers keep the great outdoors close, yet offer comfortable and flexible amenities, making them the ideal step up from tent camping for families or individuals who are driven to explore."

Fleetwood has long been the leader in the folding trailer division. According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys, Inc., Fleetwood dealers retailed 15,399 folding trailers in 2002. With an increase of 3% over 2001, Fleetwood's folding trailer division ended 2002 with a 42.7% market share. Previously marketed under the Coleman brand name, Fleetwood has now moved its folding trailer line to the highly recognized Fleetwood branded name. All owners with Fleetwood folding trailers branded with the Coleman name will continue to be supported by Fleetwood.

Exclusive to Fleetwood, many of the new models feature two-way cooking options with single inside/outside transportable stoves. Several of the new models showcase upgraded kitchen features such as no-spill convenience, hands- free water faucets and three cubic feet refrigerators with freezers. In addition, some floor plans offer spacious upper and lower options in the swing-level galleys, providing plenty of room for food storage.

Exterior features introduced in the 2004 line include Fleetwood's exclusive AlumiTitle Krystal Kote Composite roof, which is guaranteed not to leak. New lines also boast self-storing Stepper doors, which are extra wide and sturdy, and self-storing swing-up tongue dolly jack, which provide more towing flexibility.
