Fleetwood Recognizes Management Excellence

Two Promotions to Senior Vice President Announced: Supply & Materials; Corporate Finance/Chief Governance Officer

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Nov. 14 -- Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. , the nation's leader in recreational vehicle sales and a leading producer and retailer of manufactured housing, announced today the promotions of Larry L. Mace to the position of senior vice president - supply & materials and Leonard J. McGill to senior vice president - corporate finance and chief governance officer.

Mace's promotion is in recognition of his success in heading up the Company's initiative to centralize purchasing, thus reducing costs of RV and homebuilding materials. He is also responsible for Fleetwood's six supply subsidiaries, as well as various administrative functions at Fleetwood's Riverside headquarters. Mace reports to Charles A. Wilkinson, executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Mace, a 30-year Fleetwood veteran, has held a number of managerial positions in the Company, including purchasing positions at both the plant and corporate levels. He was promoted to vice president - supply in 1989. Mace most recently served as vice president - purchasing, supply operations and administration. He and his wife Carol live in Yorba Linda and have three grown daughters.

McGill joined Fleetwood in 2002 as vice president - deputy general counsel. Previously, he was an attorney with Fleetwood's primary outside law firm, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was Fleetwood's key legal contact for corporate finance transactions and securities law reporting and disclosure issues. McGill has 18 years experience as a corporate and securities lawyer. McGill now reports to Boyd R. Plowman, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

During his association with Fleetwood, McGill has been involved with the successful completion of several complex business and financial transactions. He has also led the Company's actions to formulate and execute best practice corporate governance initiatives, including the response to Sarbanes-Oxley and related regulatory requirements.

A native of Scotland, McGill is an honors graduate of the University of Edinburgh and received his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He lives in San Dimas, California, with his wife Debra and daughters Victoria, age 9, and Rebecca, age 5.
