Fabtech Motorsports Sweeps SEMA Show With Two New Product Awards

CHINO, Calif., Nov. 12, 2003 -- Fabtech Motorsports, an aftermarket automotive manufacturer specializing in performance suspension systems for 2 & 4 Wheel Drive Light Trucks/SUVs, has been recognized as an industry leader at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas with the issuance of two prestigious awards.

Fabtech's first award was presented by SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) for Best New Product of the Year Award in the 4 Wheel / Offroad product category. With over 1000 new products in the running, Fabtech was one of only seven companies to receive a New Product award for their Performance Suspension System for the new 2004 Ford 4 Wheel Drive F150 trucks. Ford Motor Company also honored Fabtech at the SEMA Show with the presentation of Ford's Product Excellence Award for the same suspension system. With only a few of these awards provided by Ford at the show Fabtech's President Brent Riley stated, "Receiving this award directly from Ford was a total surprise and is a great reward for all of our employees' hard work on this project".

Fabtech's new Performance Suspension for 2004 Ford F150 trucks provides an increased ride height of 6 inches over stock allowing the installation of oversized tires for aggressive offroad use. According to Riley, "Early on we dedicated all of our R&D and engineering resources to this project so that we could deliver production systems shortly after Ford shipped the F150 trucks to local dealers. Ford Motor Company was a key player in this project by providing us with a pre-production truck to use for prototyping. Our staff worked nonstop for nearly two months to make the this project happen and receiving these two awards for this effort is a testament to our staff's dedication and drive."

As a Southern California-based manufacturer, Fabtech employs over 175 people that are dedicated to designing and building cutting edge aftermarket suspension systems for the offroad truck enthusiast.
