The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. As part of AAIW, the SEMA Show attracts more than 80,000 industry leaders from over 100 countries for its unlimited profit opportunities in the automotive, truck and SUV, marine and RV markets. SEMA Show 2003 is expected to draw over 40,000 domestic and international buyers through two million square feet of exhibits. The displays are segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase features more than 1,100 newly introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the SEMA show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more. SEMA Features More New Products Than Ever

The latest automotive trends and technology are in the spotlight in SEMA's New Products Showcase. Over 1,000 new products representing the latest technology in every automotive category are unveiled each year in the SEMA Show's New Products Showcase. "This year's New Products Showcase will include products that range from traction-gripping off-road parts to accessories from the hottest sport-compact brands," said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA’s vice president of marketing and communications.

The New Products Showcase, located in the north hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, gives attendees a comprehensive overview of the newest products the industry has to offer. "Our industry is driven by performance and innovation," MacGillivray said. "Consumers demand the latest technology—the products that define the newest trends in the aftermarket—and the SEMA Show is the best place in the world to tap into racing, restyling and performance products."

Show management has organized the showcase by market categories and provides detailed literature beside each product on display, including a product photo, text description, company data and the booth number where each product exhibitor can be found. Attendees are encouraged to view products in the categories of interest and follow-up with manufacturers exhibiting at the show.

In addition to the product display, the association also hosts an annual awards program. Awards will be given for the Best New Off-Road/Four-Wheel-Drive Product, Best New Packaging Design, Best New Accessory Product, Best-Engineered New Product, Best New Performance Street Product, Best New Performance Racing Product, Best New Street Rod/Custom Car Product, Best New Merchandising Display, Best New Pickup/SUV/Van Product, and Best New Mobile Electronics Entertainment Product. The award winners are chosen by a group of industry experts and specialists and presented at the New Products Awards Breakfast prior to the show opening on Tuesday, November 4. The New Products Showcase is open to all attendees during regular show hours —Nov. 4 - 7.
