HindSight Helps to Minimize Blind Spots in SUV's

Corona, CA, 31 October -- VizuaLogic(R) has created the HindSight(TM) BackUp Monitor System for drivers of large sport utility vehicles.

The HindSight System offers drivers a solution that gives them an increased range of vision without detracting from the appearance of the vehicle. HindSight has vehicle-specific styling and color to integrate with the vehicle's factory fit and finish. The video unit mounts inside the car and is a 100% OE match in color and style. The camera is stealth mounted and securely attached so that it is virtually unnoticeable and won't get knocked off or stolen.

HindSight improves rearview visibility and increases driver confidence when the vehicle is in reverse by providing drivers with a full rearview, wide-angle back up image. The 3.5-inch, full color, TFT reverse image monitor captures a 120-degree viewing angle, nearly eliminating blind spots. The camera also features excellent low-light capability.

Over time, SUVs have become larger while the windows have become smaller and the rear ends higher, making it harder for SUV drivers to see low-lying objects. These changes in design necessitate the use of a product like HindSight to avoid accidents. In 2001, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that over 600,000 accidents occurred involving a vehicle that was either backing up, leaving a parking space, merging or changing lanes.

Installation of the HindSight typically requires an hour or less. The camera can be flush mounted in the vehicles bumper or attached securely under the bumper. VizuaLogic's commitment to excellence allows installers to achieve the custom look that makes the HindSight seem like original equipment. Each HindSight BackUp Monitor System Kit contains all the necessary hardware and the highest quality components for installation.

HindSight automatically turns on when the vehicle is in reverse, for easy operation.
