Company Profile for ATK Motorcycles

--ATK is the second oldest continuously operating manufacturer of motorcycles in the United States. Having won several world and national racing titles over its 20-year history, ATK is known throughout the motorcycle industry for producing premier off-road motorcycles with a reputation for quality and innovation.

In September 2003, with the buyout of 480 tons of motorcycle and ATV parts from the now defunct Cannondale Motorsports Corp. (which had been ATK's only domestic competitor), ATK emerged as the sole manufacturer of dirt motorcycles in America. Aggressive styling, top-quality products, outstanding dealer support and a worldwide reputation for winning remain the hallmarks of the ATK brand.

ATK has also developed a series of special on- and off-road law enforcement and military motorcycles known as "Homeland Defenders," for use by various federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. These specially equipped off-road bikes are designed to perform reliably under extreme conditions and heavy use, making them ideal for agencies covering large desert territories, or rough mountainous terrain.
