Janet B. Toronski is Appointed Vice President - National Accounts At DaimlerChrysler Services

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Sept. 30 -- DaimlerChrysler Services North America today announced the appointment of Janet B. Toronski, 41, Vice President - National Accounts effective October 1, 2003. Toronski will report to Paul Knauss, Vice President - Chrysler Financial.

In this position, Toronski is responsible for the overall design, vision and direction of strategic development of key automotive accounts totaling more than $5 billion. In addition, her responsibilities include implementing corporate strategies directing the manner in which national accounts are managed throughout the entire financial services business.

"Janet is an established professional within the finance industry, who has a complete understanding of our customers' needs. Her extensive experience in managing large scale projects and debt management are extremely valuable assets," said Paul Knauss, Vice President - Chrysler Financial. Toronski joins DaimlerChrysler Services with having held a series of increasingly responsible positions including Director - Major Accounts Office, Major Executive and Regional Attorney. Most recently, Toronski held the position of Director - Transformation Projects responsible for the transformation and management of large and small-scale activities.

The National Accounts team is a lending partner for consolidated dealerships, putting together credit facilities worth hundreds of millions of dollars which consist of lines of credit for acquisitions, real estate and floor plan financing.
