'Lowrider Super Show 2003' Rolls Into Las Vegas October 5th With an Outrageous Car Show, Hydraulics Competition, Concert and More

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 29 -- GoLo Entertainment, Inc. and Lowrider Magazine, part of PRIMEDIA's Automotive Enthusiast and Action Sports Group, present the Lowrider Super Show 2003. This final stop of a nationwide Tour featuring the nation's most unique customized vehicles takes place at Cashman Field Center in Las Vegas (850 Las Vegas Blvd. North), Sunday, October 5th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Quaker State, Black Magic, Nitto Tires, Exide Orbital Batteries, Player Wire Wheels, Limited Alloy Wheels and Jaleco Entertainment sponsor the event.

Hundreds of highly customized vehicles in categories ranging from Traditional Lowriders, Bombs -- defined as 1954 and older -- Trucks and SUVs to Luxury, Custom Compacts, Bicycles and Tricycles in addition to a day full of festivities make Lowrider Super Show 2003 the largest ever. All vehicles will be competing in the $10,000 Quaker State Championship Cup, awarded to the overall points leader for the Lowrider Legends Tour 2003. Expect a visual spectacle as vehicles and their owners compete in various categories of the hydraulics competition (Hop) sponsored by CCE Hydraulics. Cars and trucks may land on their roofs!

Attendees will also enjoy a concert featuring the hot rapper Baby Bash recognized for his smash song "Suga Suga", Oldies Legend Brenton Wood, Chicano rapper Lil' Rob and comedian KJ, as well as sponsor display booths and vendors offering Lowrider merchandise, from sunglasses to car parts. The show concludes with the world-famous bikini contest and exhibitor awards ceremony. With more than $50,000 in prize money being awarded, you are sure to see some of the most beautiful vehicles and hottest attractions the nation has to offer.

Tickets for the Lowrider Super Show 2003 at Cashman Field Center go on sale Sunday, October 5th at 9 a.m. for $30 each. 2-for-1 coupons are available at all Las Vegas area AutoZone stores or inside the latest issue of Lowrider Magazine. Please follow the directions printed on the coupon. Children 10 years and under are free with a paying adult.

Show vehicle pre-registration deadline is September 24th and the fee is $50. Walk-up registration is available on space availability only and begins Saturday, October 4th, 12 noon - 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 5th, 5 a.m. - 9 a.m. Hydraulic competitor registration is on Sunday, October 5th, 6 a.m. - 9 a.m.; the fee is $75.
