ATLANTA, July 31 -- MobileGuardian LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Numerex Corp. , today announced that it has signed on to sponsor and participate in The Dodge(R) Teen Driver Education Program, a metro Atlanta-based initiative to educate teenage drivers and their parents on responsible driving practices. According to The Safe America Foundation(R) (www.safeamerica.org ), over 120,000 teens in the metro Atlanta area between the ages of 16 and 17 are licensed drivers. Two in five will have a collision every year.

During the month of August 2003, MobileGuardian(TM) will be participating in Atlanta area mall appearances of The Safe America Foundation's teen driving simulators. Through radio advertising and public service announcements, parents are encouraged to bring their teen drivers to these public events to evaluate their teen's driving performance in a controlled environment. The Dodge(R) Teen Driver Education Program will culminate with a week-long event (August 25-30), where participating area high schools will bring classes of students for seminars and demonstrations on topics such as Crash and Victim Extrication, Seat Belt Convincer, Georgia Driving Laws, Drinking and Driving, Car Control Rollover, Car Maintenance, Big Wheel Blind Zones and Handling Distractions.
