Thor Wins $30 Million in Orders for Buses and RVs

JACKSON CENTER, Ohio, July 28 -- Thor Industries, Inc. announced today that it has received bus and motor home orders totaling $30 million from four major customers.

ElDorado National (California), Inc. received orders for 42 of its newly introduced 40 ft. Axess low-floor buses for ShuttlePort Florida, LLC for use at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Champion Bus received an order for 69 buses from Air Serv Corp. and an order for 28 buses from Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. These bus orders total approximately $21 million. The RV order of approximately $9 million is for 205 Class C motor homes for Thor's Four Winds division from Cruise America, Inc., the largest RV rental operator. This new order makes a total of 580 vehicles sold this year to Cruise America, up 100 vehicles from last year.

Thor is the largest unit manufacturer of recreation vehicles and the largest unit builder of commercial buses.
