Raymond Schroth Named Director of Service at Hyundai Motor America

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 28, 2003 -- Raymond R. Schroth has been named Director of Service for Hyundai Motor America. Schroth will be responsible for service operations, technical training, technical support, warranty, service contracts, customer surveys, and consumer affairs functions.

Prior to joining HMA, Schroth served as Director of Service and Quality for Volkswagen of America. Schroth previously worked for BMW of America for 18 years, during which time he was responsible for quality and service engineering, warranty, and test engineering.

"Raymond is a great new addition to our management team," said Hyundai's President and CEO Finbarr O'Neill. "His wide range of experience will assist in our strong push to continue to improve our customer service and move it to a higher level."

Schroth earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive Engineering from the State College of Hamburg, Germany and his Master of Science degree in Technology from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Now residing in Southern California, Schroth and wife Jill have two children.
