Teamster Motorcyclists Welcome Gov. Taft's Labor Liaison as Member
Ted Brown to Receive Leather Vest Today During Ceremony in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 22 -- The labor liaison for Gov. Bob Taft (R-Ohio), Ted Brown, will receive his "colors" Friday, May 23, 2003 from a Teamsters Union motorcycle association at a ceremony in Columbus.
Brown, who will get a black leather vest, will be an associate member of Chapter 1 of the Teamster Horseman Motorcycle Association, which has 35 members in Ohio. The 4-year-old club has more than 500 members nationwide, and has raised more than $50,000 to fight multiple sclerosis, and thousands of dollars to assist other charities.
