Titan Auto Insurance Sponsors Midnight Mayhem 2003 Series at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Late-Night Program Designed to Attract Illegal Street Racers to Safer Environment of Speedway

LAS VEGAS, April 3 -- Titan Auto Insurance, Inc. (Titan Auto Insurance), an exclusive agency that provides affordable personal automobile insurance, today announced a sponsorship agreement with The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway regarding its ongoing Midnight Mayhem Series. As part of the agreement, the series will be named "Titan Insurance Midnight Mayhem at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway."

The Titan Insurance Midnight Mayhem at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) is a late-night program designed to attract illegal street racers and move them from public streets to a safer, more controlled racing environment. The popular series has proven to be an effective tool in the fight against the serious problem of illegal street racing, attracting an average 400 cars and bikes, and more than 2,000 spectators, per event.

"As an auto insurance agency, the safety of our streets and the motorists who use them is of utmost importance to us," said Janine Graff, Nevada product manager for Titan. "This sponsorship agreement gives Titan a great opportunity to promote safety on our roadways and help provide a safe and legitimate alternative to the highly dangerous, illegal pastime of street racing."

Titan Insurance Midnight Mayhem is open to any licensed driver with a currently registered car or motorcycle and proof of insurance. Vehicles must be driven (not towed) to the track. Drivers under the age of 18 are required to present a completed parental consent form. Qualified emergency personnel are also present at each event.

"Illegal street racing is a growing problem for communities all over the United States," said Chris Blair, director of drag racing operations at LVMS. "Titan Insurance Midnight Mayhem program at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has attracted national attention and become the model program of the National Hot Rod Association's campaign against illegal street racing. With help from Titan Auto Insurance, we plan to continue to make these events even bigger and further reduce the volume of illegal street racing in Southern Nevada."
