XM Satellite Radio Enters Sponsorship of Chicago Auto Show Media Center

CHICAGO, Feb. 6 -- With a two-day media preview of the
Chicago Auto Show plump with news of fresh products and executive
availability; and the remainder of the Windy City's ten-day public show a
lightning rod for print and broadcast journalists, XM Satellite Radio has
entered into an agreement to assist local, national and international media in
getting their jobs done more efficiently. The XM Satellite Radio Media Center
will be located in Room S102B of Chicago's McCormick Place.
"XM is thrilled to enter into this relationship with the Chicago Auto
Show," said Dan Murphy, Vice President, Retail and OEM Marketing and
Distribution for XM Satellite Radio. "Participating at the nation's largest
auto show provides great exposure for XM on a grand scale that can't be
matched at any other location. The beauty of the Chicago show is its position
as one of the nation's top media shows and its unquestioned status as the
premier consumer auto show in North America. We will be able to address both
constituencies with tremendous efficiency."
The 6,000 sq. ft. XM Satellite Radio Media Center will offer visiting
media everything they need to get their jobs done with a working newsroom
backdrop, including banks of computers, high speed Internet connections,
business machines of every type and assistance from the staff of the 95th
Chicago Auto Show.
In addition, XM Satellite Radio will display its fast-growing technology
to the public on the spacious show floor in Booth No. 31.

    About XM
Murphy continued: "One big idea can change everything and XM Satellite
Radio is one big idea: Radio to the Power of X. America's most popular
satellite radio service gives consumers the power to choose what they want to
hear -- wherever and whenever they want it. XM offers 70 music channels --
more than any other satellite radio service.
"XM's job is to push radio beyond traditional limits and win over
consumers as fans. Thanks to Chicago Auto Show, thousands of consumers will
get an opportunity to see why XM is America's hottest new car option," said
Murphy.
