In addition, Parts Plus will offer Delphi's suite of vehicle service and diagnostic tools, including the DS800(TM) handheld wireless solution.

"Although the U.S. market is very competitive, it does offer tremendous opportunity for high quality vehicle electronics and information," said Norman Young, sales director, North America. "Our partnership with Parts Plus, a nationally recognized and trusted parts and service supplier, will give technicians access to Delphi's products and services in all 50 states."

"Parts Plus has established a unique program to provide the highest quality brands from leading manufacturers in the automotive aftermarket," said Parts Plus President Michael J. Lambert. Since 1999, Delphi's global aftermarket operation has grown to include more than 1,500 employees serving 6,000 customers. Leveraging its electronics expertise, Delphi is focusing on vehicle diagnostics and repair with a systems solution approach. Delphi understands the complexity of maintaining electronic systems because it develops such systems daily for new vehicles, and can provide top-of-the line diagnostics services and OE technologies to meet changing vehicle needs.

Delphi is supporting its vehicle electronics strategy with comprehensive product support and services to help technicians meet the increasingly complex service issues surrounding automotive repair. Advanced technical hotline support, training, wireless handheld diagnostic systems and Web-based information management are a sample of the services Delphi is offering.
