In-Vehicle Navigation Systems, Tell You "Where To Get Off"(and On)

Click4 Video Demo(1:33)

October 2002 (Newstream) -- Directions... we all need them now and then, and regardless if you're the type of person who is willing to ask for help - or the type that will drive all day until you find your destination - here's something that may make your life a little easier. Now with the help from in-vehicle navigation systems your car can now tell you how to get where you're going.

In-vehicle navigation systems have been on the market for a few years, but now due to ever-advancing technology they are making driving safer, as well as saner. The system operates with the global positioning system and the vehicles feature a GPS antenna. It also provides enough lead time before turns and allows the driver to focus on the driving without having to take their eyes off the road or hands off the wheel.

And should you make a right instead of a left, the computer won't judge you. It will just re-calculate, within seconds, a new route to get you where you're going.
