Cadillac CTS and Chevrolet Corvette Chosen as Official Vehicles of Bondurant
High-Performance Driving School

MIAMI - General Motors Corp. today announced it has signed a four-year
agreement to become an official supplier of vehicles to the Bob Bondurant
School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Ariz., and that the new
Cadillac CTS luxury sports sedan and the American performance-icon Chevrolet
Corvette have been chosen as official vehicles for use at the school.

"This is yet another, tangible sign that there's a renewed emphasis on the
performance aspects of our vehicles at GM today," said General Motors
Executive Director of Marketing Services Steve Shannon. "The Bondurant
School is world-renowned for its high-performance driving curriculum, with
its graduates including among others many of the top race drivers in the
world, choosing the CTS and the Corvette as an official car to be used for
instruction at the school speaks volumes about these cars' performance
credentials."

"As we say at the school, 'Are you ready for a challenge and the experience
of a lifetime?'" said Bob Bondurant, president of the Bob Bondurant School
of High Performance Driving, Inc. "With GM agreeing to supply the Cadillac
CTS and the Chevy Corvette for use in teaching total car control at our
school, students at the Bondurant School can be assured that the cars
they're driving will be up to each and every challenge-and that it will
indeed be the experience of a lifetime."

GM will supply 28 Cadillac CTSs, 16 Corvette Coupes and four Corvette Z06s
to the school to be used, starting in January, in exclusive new
high-performance driving courses on the school's 1.6-mile road course. In
addition to teaching valuable, life-long driving skills, the courses will
provide students with the opportunity to experience the outer limits of the
impressive acceleration, handling and braking characteristics of both the
CTS and Corvette. The vehicles will be modified to include racing-type
wheels, a roll bar, racing decals, racing seat belts, a slightly tightened
suspension and dual exhaust. Other than that, they will be essentially
"stock."

"The CTS was originally validated on one of the most demanding racetracks in
the world - the hallowed Nürburgring in Germany. It's appropriate,
therefore, that it now be put to the test daily on another famous track by
the students who attend Bob Bondurant's driving school each year," said
Cadillac General Manager Mark LaNeve. "From its rear-wheel-drive
architecture and class-leading suspension dynamics to its world-class
five-speed transmission, the CTS has proven performance credentials."

"If there was ever a 'natural' for the Bondurant School of High Performance
Driving, it's the Corvette - now in its 50th year and still hands-down
America's favorite sports car," said Kurt Ritter, General Manager of
Chevrolet. "I know the Corvettes are the cars a lot of students at the
school will be just itching to drive, and for good reason. In addition to
their awesome 5.7-liter V8 engines, today's Corvettes feature such
innovations as hydroformed frame rails for race-car-like structural
integrity, the driver-selectable Magnetic Selective Ride suspension system
and titanium exhausts. Nothing says 'American high performance' quite like
Corvette, and we at Chevrolet are very proud that our flagship vehicle has
been chosen for use at Bondurant."

GM's partnership with the Bondurant School will allow the manufacturer to
gain valuable knowledge from the use of its vehicles at the school for
future performance enhancements and dynamic tuning of its production
vehicles.

Founded by racing legend Bob Bondurant in 1968, the Bondurant School
graduates approximately 5,000 students annually. Its more than 85,000
graduates include many of the world's top race drivers (including
GM-affiliated team drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Robby Gordon,
Bobby Hamilton, Terry Labonte, Tony Stewart, Al Unser, Jr., and Michael
Waltrip) and scores of celebrities, as well as average people who simply
want to improve their driving skills. The school is the largest
purpose-built facility of its kind in North America, and its curriculum
includes not only high-performance driving and racing, but also defensive
driving and personal protection. Its Web address is www.bondurant.com.
