TOKYO — Toyota Motor Corp and its unit Hino Motors Ltd on Friday obtained a certification from the transport ministry for tests of their fuel cell-powered hybrid bus in public roads, company officials said.

The two companies will shortly start road tests of four units of the bus, FCHV-BUS2, to pave the way for commercial use in the future, both said. (Kyodo News)
