MTV Stardom Awaits Aspiring Motorheads; Casting Calls at Philadelphia Park in Bensalem, Pa.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 13, 2002, MTV and DaimlerChrysler's Dodge division are putting the pedal to the metal -- literally -- to find 15 personalities with the "drive" and the talent to be stars on the newest MTV reality-based show, "MTV Fast Enuff Challenge." A casting call will take place at Philadelphia Park in Bensalem, Pa. on September 14, 2002.

Contenders will go through a series of screening tests to determine who has what it takes to make it to the final challenge. In addition to demonstrating their made-for-TV personalities, contestants will lay down their wheel skills in race-equipped Dodge Neon ACR sport-compacts. The rocking and rolling duo -- MTV and Dodge -- will host four additional casting call events across the U.S. Only three competitors from each event will make the cut.

The 15 contestants selected will then receive driver's training at Skip Barber Racing headquarters. A series of qualifying races will narrow the group of hopefuls to five. The five remaining racers will be paired with MTV "A"-list celebrities, who will also receive race training with Skip Barber. Once the training is complete, contestants and celebrities will participate in a one-time race at Homestead-Miami Speedway in October. The winning contestant will drive away with a new 2003 Dodge SRT-4.

During the screening events, contestant profiles (biographies, video clips and still-photo flipbooks) will be developed with on-air vignettes and on-line streaming video components. Through the process, viewers will be asked to predict the "MTV Fast Enuff Challenge" winner. All elements culminate with a one-hour program to air on MTV in December 2002, with two additional airings to be scheduled.

"MTV Fast Enuff Challenge" casting call events offer more than just an opportunity to drive fast cars and appear on MTV. Each unique event is designed to give "hopefuls" a chance to have fun and get involved in the Dodge and MTV experience while waiting for their chance at 15 minutes -- or more -- of fame. Onsite activities such as rockwall climbing, bungee trampolines and Viper Thrill Rides with a Skip Barber driver are open to everyone who attends.
