Exhibition Opening: smart City-Coupé at the Museum of Modern Art in New York

With the opening of the exhibition "AUTObodies: speed, sport, transport" from today a smart city-coupé is among the exhibits at the "Museum of Modern Art". From June 29th until September 16th vehicles from five decades will be exhibited which differ from other cars on account of "their outstanding aesthetics and their revolutionary design." The smart city-coupé will then be taken into the museum's permanent exhibition.

The organisers do not just see the car designed specially for use in urban areas as modern and economical, they above all see it as a solution to the main problems of automotive transport today.

The car exhibited in New York is the smart & pulse equipment line. It has bodypanels in the colour stream green and a black TRIDION safety cell.
