'The Well-Oiled Machine Dream' Sweepstakes Launches Nationally

    HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE FEATURES)--June 13, 2002--Drivers rely on Jiffy Lube to help keep their cars running like a well-oiled machine, as described in the company's "The Well-Oiled Machine(TM)" advertising and marketing campaign. At the beginning of the busy summer season, drivers will visit the industry leader's locations for another reason - to try to win a well-oiled machine of their own!
    Jiffy Lube is teaming with Pennzoil(R) for the "Win Your Well-Oiled Machine Dream" national sweepstakes. The promotion will offer the grand prize of a new vehicle of choice, worth up to $50,000, plus free Jiffy Lube Signature Service(R) oil changes for the life of the vehicle. Fifty-six million freestanding inserts with entry forms and two coupons for $5 discounts on Jiffy Lube Signature Service(R) oil changes will be in newspapers nationwide on Sunday, June 16. Readers will be invited to submit completed entries and coupons for service at Jiffy Lube locations, where blank entries will also be available. The sweepstakes entry period lasts one month, and coupons will be honored through July 31. Official rules of the sweepstakes will be available on www.jiffylube.com.
    The program will be supported with national network radio spots, network television advertising tags, customer reminder mail and web site exposure on www.jiffylube.com. The lucky winner of the "Dream" vehicle of choice and free service will be drawn in mid-August.
